The Year 8 drama class have just completed their Fractured Fairy Tale task. Divided into small groups they devised and wrote a futuristic fairy tale set beyond 2030. The character choice was limited to the existing tales Hansel and Gretel, Snow White, Cinderella and Little Red Riding Hood.
The task also stipulated that they research one issue or world problem that humans will face in the future (climate change, inequality, food and water security.) and use it as the challenge facing the characters. The results of their creative endeavours were inventive and entertaining.
