After many months of planning, the Year 12 cohort is excited to let you know that tickets to our incredible fundraising raffle are now available!
Our major fundraising activity this year is an online raffle and we have been overwhelmed with the generosity of our sponsors to create a raffle with a total prize pool of $15,000. There is something for everyone with a phenomenal 22 prizes up for grabs!
Tickets are only $5 and all proceeds will be donated to the Variety Freya Fund and Kamara’s Heart Foundation. Click here to purchase your tickets today. Please note tickets are only available to Tasmanian residents.
Each year, the Year 12 girls raise money for charities that represent our core values and we have chosen to support the Variety Freya Fund and Kamara’s Heart Foundation, both locally run by Tasmanian families.
The Variety Freya Fund is a Tasmanian charity that provides financial support to families of children with profound disabilities or illnesses through one-off donations that allow the family respite care. Fahan’s very own teacher, Mr John Williamson, set up the charity as a legacy for his daughter, Freya.
Kamara’s Heart Foundation is run by a couple who fled civil unrest in Ghana and Sierra Leone and now live in Hobart. The Foundation funds two separate schools in Sierra Leone; the money raised contributing to paying teachers’ salaries, providing school supplies, sewing machines to women in the community to sew uniforms for the schools, and many other development projects.
We hope you can help us to support these wonderful causes and buy tickets in our raffle today!
