
Ivalu is originally from Greenland, she has travelled extensively for work, studies, and pleasure. After living ten years in Norway, Ivalu and her family moved to Tasmania in 2018.
Ivalu holds a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and English from Aarhus School of Business in Denmark. In 2010 she completed a Master’s Degree in Philosophy in Indigenous Studies from University of Tromso in Northern Norway. Since arriving in Tasmania Ivalu has completed a Certificate III in Education Support and has worked to promote children’s rights for a not-for-profit organisation.
Ivalu says: “I’m so excited to be here at Fahan School working with amazing children and teachers. I love children’s energy, and I enjoy supporting them in their education, well-being, and their curiosity in everything.”
