Throughout the camp, the class developed practical skills in stand-up paddleboarding, overnight expeditions and first aid, applying their knowledge in authentic outdoor environments.

Leadership was a key focus of the experience. Every student had the opportunity to guide the group, make decisions and manage activities, building confidence, teamwork and leadership through shared responsibility and real-world challenges.

The camp provided an opportunity to consolidate and extend the skills developed throughout the semester while fostering independence, resilience and collaboration. Through experiences like these, Outdoor Adventure Skills encourages students to challenge themselves, support one another and grow as capable, confident learners in the outdoors.
