Our Year 9 and Year 10 Outdoor Education students travelled to Blackmans Bay for their first coasteering session.

With calm swell and clear skies, conditions were ideal as students swam along the coastline, navigated rocky sections and made their way to the blowhole. Along the way, they practised safe shallow-water entries using the belly-flop technique and challenged themselves with higher jumps, each student selecting a height that felt right for them.

It was wonderful to see students supporting one another, building confidence and extending their skills in a dynamic coastal environment. We look forward to seeing them continue to build on this experience in their next session.
