24 September 2025
We welcomed back alumni from the graduating years 1945–1947, 1955–1957, 1965–1967, 1975, 1985, 1995, 2000, 2005, 2015, 2020 and 2024 for our Alumni Reunion Weekend - a vibrant celebration of Fahan spirit across the decades.
Festivities began on Friday with Alumni vs Student matches of netball, soccer, bocce and tunnel ball - reviving the spirited competitions that have connected generations of Fahan students and alumni. Both teams showed strong performances, with students taking out the netball and soccer trophies.
On Saturday, alumni joined tours with Senior Students before gathering at Long View for a relaxed long lunch. After a warm address from our Principal, Meg Lawson, and updates from our Alumni Association President, Lisa Brown, and Vice President, Jen Penny, all alumni joined together for a heartfelt rendition of the School Song.
Flint Kitchen served a beautiful spread of seasonal canapés, while our Alumni Association kept the afternoon buzzing, mixing and serving cocktails and mocktails. The afternoon also featured an Alumni Panel of Speakers, bringing together voices from across six decades of Fahan’s history: Sally Hunt (Class of 1965, née Nicholas), Missy Fergusson (Class of 1985, née Bennett), Edwina Rouse (Class of 1995, née Russell) and Chrissy Tadros (Class of 2005), with the conversation hosted by Louise Wilkins (Class of 1986, née Rumley). Alongside the panel, there was plenty of time for alumni to reconnect and reminisce with classmates.
This year’s Alumni Reunion Weekend reflected the strong connections between our past, present and future. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the event such a memorable moment in our wonderful School’s story.
