The theme for Science Week 2024 was "Species Survival – More Than Just Sustainability." Throughout the week, science and technology were celebrated across the campus with excursions, competitions, lunchtime activities, and sensational Chemistry experiments. Dr Stewart's air cannon demonstrations were impressive, and the vortex smoke rings were definitely a crowd-pleaser. Students from Years 7 to 12 competed in a giant Kahoot game where science questions focussed on Endangered Species. Each team was hotly contested, and the winners were given a sweet prize at the end. On Friday, Year 4 students visited the Festival of Bright Ideas at Princes Wharf, immersing themselves in a world of fascinating scientific discoveries. They explored an array of exhibits and hands-on activities, asking lots of questions along the way.

Science Week was full of fun experiments and new discoveries, leaving students eager to learn more about the world around them.
