Our Year 6 students have had a wonderful week with their visitors from Tokyo Jogakkan, one of our sister schools in Japan. During the past week, our students enjoyed learning more about the Japanese culture with some of the highlights being: dressing up in stunning kimonos, taking part in a traditional tea ceremony, learning the art of calligraphy and playing entertaining games together with their Japanese friends. The Tokyo Jogakkan students enjoyed a scavenger hunt around the School, up-close and personal experiences with Australian animals at Bonorong Wildlife Park, a scenic bushwalk of Alum Cliffs and are now looking forward to their weekend homestays with some of the Year 6 families. A fabulous week of cultural experiences all round!
