A huge congratulations to the following Fahan girls, Molly Crosby, Annabelle Fry, Charlotte Jones, Keala Hayes, Sophie Bury and Olivia Sampson (reserve) who were selected for the Rowing Tasmania Schools Pathway Team for 2023 in the School Girls Eight.
What an incredible achievement to have six Fahan girls in a team of 11 representing Tasmania.
The Tasmanian Schools Pathway Eight Program, initiated by Rowing Australia, exposes school rowers and coaches to the next level of rowing. The program offers a chance for participants to go through the national rowing selection process, compete with their peers from across the Nation, and collaborate with top-level coaches and support staff.
After a rigorous week of competition, the girls placed third in the Eights race, advancing them to the A final, where they finished in 5th place overall.
An amazing result, well done representing Tasmania girls!
