National Sporting Events Results

Congratulations to Jemima Geappen and Ava Mignanelli who both represented Tasmania at National sporting events on the Gold Coast during the holidays.
Jemima competed at the 2023 Junior Track and Field Nationals held at the Queensland Sport and Athletics Centre and won gold in the Under 14 Long Jump with an incredible jump of 5.30m and also jumped a PB of 10.98, placing her second with a silver medal in the Under 14 Triple Jump.
Ava competed in seven events at the 2023 Australian Age Championships held at the Gold Coast Aquatic Centre. She swam a PB in the 400m Freestyle and placed 4th in Australia in the 13yrs 1500m Freestyle at her first Nationals!
