On Monday 29 June, Fahan students joined together to celebrate the importance of buddies for wellbeing. While much of the school day is spent focusing on core competencies such as maths, science and spelling, Fahan students also take the time to recognise the importance of friendship.
During the month of June, school children across Australia celebrated National Buddy Day in support of The Alannah and Madeline Foundation’s Better Buddies Framework, which aims to create friendly and caring school communities, reduce bullying and promote positive relationships.
